Meet the Author
Every page begins with a story. This one begins with mine

Hello, I’m Ayesha.
I’m the founder and creator of The Resonant Horizon.
Long before I ever imagined creating activity books, I was simply a writer.
I’ve always loved words—their ability to comfort, encourage, preserve memories, and bring people together. But for years I carried one quiet hope in my heart: to create something that would truly matter. Something that would outlive me. Something that might make life a little gentler for others.
I searched for that purpose for a long time.
In the end, I didn’t find it.
It found me.
In the form of a spinal cord tumour.
Everything I believed would change in an instant. Major surgery, paralysis, and a long journey of rehabilitation forced me to slow down in ways I could never have imagined. The future I had planned disappeared, replaced by days measured not by achievements but by tiny victories most people would never notice.
Yet somewhere within that difficult journey, something unexpected began to grow.
I discovered that the smallest moments often carry the greatest meaning.
A conversation.
A familiar song.
A memory shared.
A smile that arrives after a difficult day.
A simple activity that helps someone feel capable again.
Those moments became the foundation of The Resonant Horizon.
Today, every resource I create is written from both professional care and personal experience. Every page is designed to bring dignity, comfort, conversation and genuine human connection to older adults, people living with illness or disability, families, carers and professionals alike.
If these resources bring even a little warmth, joy or hope into someone’s day, then every step of this journey has been worth it.
Welcome.
I’m so grateful you’re here.
