Writing & Publications
The Resonant Horizon is also an independent writing and publishing practice, creating original books, stories, characters, mysteries and creative worlds.
This literary work sits separately from First Light and the Volume 1 Collection, with books created for reading rather than as practical TRH resources.
The writing moves across mystery, memory, identity, reflection, imagination, poetry and different ways of seeing. Some books are complete standalone works, while others are interconnected, with characters, ideas and stories continuing across several titles.
Books & The Horizon Library
TRH books are independently published as eBooks on Amazon Kindle, with selected works also available to read free where indicated.
The Horizon Library brings the collection together in one place. Readers can explore individual books, connected series and continuing fictional worlds, read introductions to each work and choose where or whether they would like to begin.
There is no required reading order across the wider collection. Individual books and series indicate where connections or reading sequences are relevant.
A Letter from a Friend
A free monthly publication from The Resonant Horizon.
Not everything needs to become a book.
A Letter from a Friend is a small four-page publication arriving each month with something worth sharing: curiosity, original writing, a question, a story, gentle humour, an observation or something unexpected.
It is designed to be easy to read, download, print, keep or pass along.
There is nothing to complete and no requirement to respond.
Free to read and download. No membership or sign-up required.
Issue 1
Halloween Special Edition · 2026
A little Halloween magic from The Resonant Horizon. Discover curious traditions, a playful mystery, a seasonal recipe, Beneath the Lantern Sky, and a Halloween adventure with Sunny and Poppy.
Have Something to Share?
Occasionally, A Letter from a Friend may also make room for something from its readers.
That might be a favourite recipe with a story behind it, a short piece of original writing, a memory or tradition, a poem, an interesting question, or simply an idea that might belong in a future Letter.
There is no expectation to contribute. The Letter will continue to arrive regardless.
If something is submitted and TRH would like to include it, publication will always be discussed privately first. Permission, authorship and appropriate credit will be agreed before anything is published.
